Colorado's rich Victorian history gave us more than quaintly built mountain towns of streets lined with Painted Ladies and photos of climbers in ball gowns.  The Victorian era gave us the picnic.

Let us show you and that special someone (even if it's your BFF) one of the most unique Colorado tours, the picnic.

We'll pick you up and deliver you to one of our favorite spots and treat you to some very tasty snacks.

Expect to do some light hiking, so wear comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear.  Always bring a jacket in Colorado!

Your guide will remain in earshot if you need him/her but we will let you enjoy the view in privacy in the great outdoors.  At dusk we will take you back to your pick up location or drop you off at your location of choice if it is nearby.

We have 350 days of sunshine in Colorado but in the case we have to cancel due to adverse weather conditions, we will either reschedule your picnic or offer you a full refund.

In Europe the picnic was invented as a meal for hunters who were out all day on the hunt and didn’t want to return home for a proper meal. So rather than disrupt the day’s hunt they took their afternoon meal outside. These first picnics were informal affairs. It was a matter of convenience. That is, until the Victorian era began.

Picque nique which is “a little bit of this, a little bit of that.”  means that the picnic really isn’t meant to be a full meal just little tastes of several things. A hearty snack enjoyed in a beautiful setting.
